warior worship

It's 11:15 am, Monday May 1st. CSCL chapel normally starts at 8:15 every morning and lasts for 15 minutes. This morning it is still going on–three hours later.

I am drawn out of my office by the sound of the rhythmic drums. Students of all ages, from 5 to 18, are congregated near the stage. The Lord has shown up and they are in intense intercession. One of their teachers has cancer, and they are warring for her.

They are as a sea, engulfing the teacher they are praying for, and I can't see the student holding the mic. Guttural tears come out of her as she cries out for her teacher's life. My eyes tear up. This is what school should be like. For the first time, I am jealous of CSCL, MorningStar's K-12 Christian school. I went to public school, got a great education, and turned out okay; but today, I wish I would have had a CSCL experience. Today I get it –I get why these students will be world-changers.

They are in this "bubble" that is a mix of school and the Spirit. They are learning the reality of how to incorporate the Lord into every area of their everyday life. They will have a totally different paradigm entering the workforce than I did; they will know how to work with the Lord.

Your MST membership will help train and send out youth who know their authority in the Lord and are ready to make a change.

Give to MST.

We are looking for partners, those who will join forces with us, to give any amount and to pray in order to release effective youth who know the power and love of our God.

Give to MST.

These kids won't have to learn how to hear the Lord's voice and follow it when they are twenty; they are already doing it now.

what is genuineARTicle? (under construction)

big picture: kids finding their identity/uniqueness in who God created them to be.

big idea: a kids arts collaborative mural (painting/dancing/music etc...)

there is nothing new under the sun...to quote wise Solomon.
to organize a colaborative like this requires planning and research.
this is my place/space to spread it all out on the table & get the thoughts collected and run with inspiration daily. enjoy...
